"The Nilgiris Public School" was established as "The Nilgiris Matriculation Higher Secondary School (N.M.H.S.S.)" in the year 1979. Our change in identity in the year 2024 marks our shift to the C.B.S.E. curriculum. The school has classes from Kindergarten to XIIth and is situated at "Lovedale", one of the most picturesque locations in the Nilgiris. The school was taken over by Mrs.Rema Padmanabhan, a teacher by profession in 1997 and has been transformed to one of the most respected schools in the region.
